Philosophy and goals of the CAS- iRacing Community

The CAS- iRacing Community was founded by me with the desire to support newcomers to SIM- Racing, especially the simulation iRacing. In the beginning, SIM racing newcomers are faced with countless difficulties and a flood of almost unmanageable possibilities.

In this phase, it is important to create a friendly and helpful environment in which new members feel comfortable and can learn from the ‘old hands’. There should be as few unanswered questions as possible. Only in this atmosphere can we ensure that newcomers feel at ease and can remain enthusiastic about this hobby, which is of course not cheap, in the long term.

We value an atmosphere without arrogance and cliques. Many players feel uncomfortable in over-regulated or elitist communities. An open and welcoming approach could help more people develop an interest in sim racing and actively participate.

The idea of organising leagues and individual events that are as close as possible to the reality of racing is also a very important goal for the community, which in turn could increase fun and competitiveness while strengthening the sense of community. Consideration for the personal, time and professional needs of participants is crucial to creating an enjoyable and stress-free environment.

By organising professional racing events and championships at a high level, without the pressure of eSports, you create a platform where riders of all levels can feel comfortable and develop.

It is particularly important to us that over-motivated drivers with a high potential for aggression are not welcome in the community. This promotes respectful interaction and ensures that all participants feel safe and supported. The focus on mutual support and guidance for weaker riders is a priority concept that strengthens the sense of community and gives everyone the opportunity to improve.
