1.4 Starting numbers
The starting numbers can be chosen arbitrarily in the range of 2 – 999. The start number 1 is always reserved for the winner of the overall classification from the previous season.
The desired start number can be entered on the Discord server during registration.
Those who do not enter a start number will be assigned a number.
The respective start number of each rider will remain for the entire duration of the season and cannot be changed.
1.5 Communication
Communication within this series will be handled exclusively via the CAS-iRacing Community Discordserver. If non-German speaking drivers participate, communication with the respective participants will be in English. The drivers use their „real name“ registered in iRacing in the Discord. This facilitates contact, the awarding of points and penalties and, if necessary, streaming.
1.6 Behaviour (Racing Etiquette)
Instructions from the league management must always be followed as quickly as possible during the event. In any case, the organiser reserves the right to change, amend and enforce the rules at his own discretion and with notice. If the instructions are deliberately disregarded, this may lead to immediate exclusion from the event or the entire league.
Friendly and respectful cooperation is assumed at all times. This applies to all participants and organisers. Insults in speech and writing are not tolerable and may be punished up to exclusion. This applies to text and voice chat in iRacing as well as to text and voice chat on the Discord server. Intentional manoeuvres in the race that cause damage to other vehicles will not be tolerated.
1.7 iRacing Rules
The rules of the respective iRacing simulation apply in the race. A ReKo has now been installed and has started its work.
A cool-down phase will be set up for submitting incidents.
Incidents can be submitted on the Discord under #cc-overview <- Results / Protests from Saturday 10:00 am until Monday 10:00 am (maximum 48 hours) after the race / end of the cool-down phase.“ Further information on our race rules and possible consequences can be found in the appendix „Penalty catalogue“.
1.6 Chat Silence
After incidents or accidents in the race, any disagreements and apportionment of blame regarding the situation must be clarified exclusively by private message in the Discord between the parties involved. Depictions and reports of incidents/accidents in the public chat are strictly forbidden. The posting of videos depicting such situations in the race is prohibited. Likewise, uninvolved parties may not address or comment on situations involving other drivers that have occurred during the race. Violations will result in ‘Discord Time Outs’ and/or race bans.

2. Calendar & Tracks
2.1 Race Calendar
In general, the original iRacing track conditions of the current official Raceweek or the freely created races apply to all sessions.
3. Registration & Deregistration
3.1 Registration
Registration for the iRacing League
Registration for the league takes place via Discord in the #ccs-overview channel (there under „Registration“). Registration for the current season is possible at any time. The only exception to this is the final phase of the season. It is no longer possible to be invited to the league two races before the final.
A start number must be entered in the registration form.
After successful registration (registration has been confirmed on Discord), participants will be invited to the league in iRacing. This invitation must be accepted in good time. If you have any questions, please contact the organiser in the Discord here #ccs-chat. The registrations will be placed in the ranking table one after the other. As soon as the maximum number of 28 starters has been reached, all further registrations will be placed on the waiting list in turn.
Registration deadline: not applicable.
3.1a Rider identification
All participants must change their nickname on the Discord server to the correct (iRacing) name. As soon as participants move up from the waiting list, the nickname must be changed immediately.
3.2 Waiting list
If the number of registrations exceeds the number of starting places, all further registrations will be put on a waiting list. If drivers cancel their registration or are absent without excuse in two races, the league director reserves the right to replace these drivers with participants from the waiting list. Inactive drivers are also removed from the league over a longer period of time.
3.3 Race servers
The race servers will be made available in the league system „CAS- Combined Cup“ in iRacing. In case of questions regarding participation, the event management can be contacted via Discord.
3.4 Nomination of drivers for the „Racedays
Approximately one week before the next upcoming „Raceday“, it is possible and absolutely necessary to register riders in the Discord channel CC-Raceday-Registration. If drivers cannot participate in an event or a race, this must be communicated to the event management in good time before the start of the event, or the status message for registration in „CC-Raceday-Registration“ must be adjusted. If participants are absent without cancelling their registration, they may be excluded from further races. Drivers who participate in the race without a status message or who set the status message after the thread has been opened (15 minutes before the start of the race) will subsequently be deprived of 6 points points for this event. Drivers who participate in the race without a status report or who set the status report after the thread has been opened (15 minutes before the start of the race) may subsequently have 6 points deducted from this event. This is done by imposing a penalty for the first race in the respective vehicle class. This affects both the vehicle class and the combined and, if applicable, team classification.
3.5 Rules for participation
Drivers who have fewer than three participations after 5 races without a valid reason known to the league management may be removed from the league. Drivers who have not participated after three races may also be removed. The accumulated rating points remain intact. The league management reserves the right to decide on the validity of the rule. The aim is to ensure that no league places are blocked for any new entrants.
3.6 Maximum iRating of participants
Drivers who register for the CAS Combined Cup may not exceed an iRating of 3000. The iRating for the Sportscar class as well as for the Formula class must be stated honestly on the registration form. If the iRating exceeds 3000 during the current season, the driver may continue to participate.
Drivers who have already participated several times before the introduction of this rule from season 8 onwards may continue to register for the respective subsequent season. If participants leave the league for at least one season, the 3K rule also applies to these drivers.
4. Series specific rules
4.1 Race etiquette
Concentrated and careful driving. Be aware of braking points and the different driving styles of your opponents. Take into account that each driver, each car might move differently through a corner.
Be aware of the first corners/laps after the start. Risk of congestion and different braking points due to cold tyres/brakes and slipstream.
In inlap or choppy lap, let drivers pass on time chase. This applies during qualifying and also during practice.
4.2 Re-joining the track
If a rider spins at the start or in the course of the race, thereby blocking or leaving the track, the rider must stop as soon as possible or move out of the danger zone in order to prevent collisions and possible resulting damage. If necessary, the rider must also allow the following rider(s) to pass first. Returning to the track may only take place as soon as there is no danger to the rest of the field of riders. This applies especially to the situation when one loses the vehicle in a bend and returns to the track at reduced speed. Traffic on the track always has priority as long as no other restriction applies!
4.3 Start Procedure
The start is organised by iRacing. The race is authorised by the start light/green flag. Overtaking is permitted from then on. A false start is automatically penalised by iRacing.
4.4 Safety Car
There will be no safety car.
4.5 Incidents rule
The Inc limit for the first penalty is set at 15x. The next penalty will follow at 20x and at 25x you will be disqualified for the race. The penalty for 15x and 20x is a drive through penalty and will be given automatically by iRacing.
4.6 Briefing
Not applicable, unless otherwise announced by the Event Director.
4.7 Finishing the race/event properly
A race is considered to have ended properly when you cross the start/finish line on the last lap and are waved off by the black and white chequered flag. After crossing the finish line, it is mandatory to drive a clean inlap and park the vehicle in your own pit lane. You may then leave the server. Participants who do not ride inlap may receive 10 penalty points after the race. In the event of a repair, they must remain on the server until the last vehicle has crossed the start/finish line.
If the participant leaves the race server prematurely or if 50% of the race has not yet been completed, the participant will be excluded from scoring points. Of course, this does not apply to disconnects caused by connection problems or other technical defects.
4.8 Driver Ranking
Riders from the classification table will receive points for each race separately. Riders will receive points if the respective races and the event have been properly completed as described in 4.7. There will be a fair play classification where the riders with the fewest incident points will receive additional points. If there is a tie at the end of the league in the scoring classes, the corresponding place is awarded 200 points several times (e.g. P1, P2 and P3). This is then counted as three P1s. P2 and P3 are then cancelled.
In order to be ranked in the vehicle classes, at least 45% of the total distance must be covered. This applies to individual races (heats) and also to the combined class ranking.
In the main ranking, at least 50% of the total distance must be covered in the races and also combined in order to be included in the ranking.
4.9 Team classification
A team classification will be carried out. The two best team results per individual race will be included in the team classification. Teams that are too large must be split up (e.g. Team SimRacing red, Team SimRacing green, etc.). A maximum of three drivers per team is permitted. The team classification is based on the drivers‘ positions in the respective individual races. Only the ‘race points’ are calculated here. Bonus points are driver-dependent and cannot be included in the team classification. Moving team drivers to separate ‘sub-teams’ during the season is not permitted. New drivers who do not belong to a team may join a team during the season.
4.10 Scratch Results
As the CAS- iRacing Community always strives to ensure that the participating drivers can reconcile the race dates with their private and professional environment and that one or more „non-participations“ do not result in any disadvantages for individual drivers, there will be 2 drop results (dropweeks)
Scoring

Fair Play Rating „FPR“
The drivers with the lowest number of incidents receive fair play rating points (FPR) in the combined ranking. The awarding is staggered as follows:
0-2 incidents = 3 FPR bonus points
3-5 incidents = 2 FPR bonus points
6-7 incidents = 1 FPR bonus point
If several drivers have the same number of INCs, these drivers receive the same number of additional points.
The FPR points for the respective race are awarded automatically by the League Manager and are not explained further in the reviews.
FPR points are only awarded if all races are completed in the combined classification (90% of the total number of laps).
Participation Points „PCP“
In order to make participation in the races more attractive, so-called participation points (PCP) are awarded.
PCP points are only awarded in the combined classification.
A minimum of 45% of the total number of laps in the combined classification of the Combined Cup is required to receive PCP points.
If the races are completed in accordance with the rules, 6 „PCP points“ are awarded. The points are awarded automatically by the League Manager.
5 Miscellaneous
5.1 Vehicle liveries
The vehicle liveries of the drivers will be displayed via Trading Paints.
In principle, the drivers and teams are responsible for their own vehicle livery.
However, the paintwork may not contain any party-political, racist, sexist or discriminatory content.
If logos are used, the respective permissions must be obtained.
In case of damage, the respective drivers and teams are liable.
5.2 Streaming
The races of the league can be streamed live by us. Each user can also stream live their own cockpit view. An commented live stream may only be carried out by the CAS Iracing Community or thus commissioned streamer. In the stream, the Iracing user names of the participating drivers are shown via overlay or mentioned in the comment.

Classification is the sole responsibility of the race organisers and will not be discussed further.
Basics of a rating
- Contacts that can be traced back to a „netcode“ remain unpunished in all cases.
- In an overtaking manoeuvre between vehicles, the following applies:
- The overtaking vehicle must be at least halfway to the vehicle in front in order to be able to claim the position before the bend. If there is no sufficient overlap at the beginning of the bend, the overtaking manoeuvre must be aborted.
- The person being overtaken must give the overtaker sufficient space in the following bends to complete the overtaking manoeuvre.
to be able to complete the process.
- Penalties called by iRacing remain unaffected.
- Stewards who are themselves involved in an incident may not participate in decisions of the penalty catalogue.
- Submissions of one or more incidents can be made in the League Manager Site under „Reviews/ Protests“.
Sentencing categories
Category 1 (no penalties will be imposed):
- Obvious netcode/ classic racing accident
Category 2 (3 penalty points)
- Classification by the stewards
Category 3 (6 penalty points)
- Classification by the stewards
Category 4 (exclusion from the race or the complete league)
- Insulting, harassing or disrespectful behaviour in the chat, voice channel or on any other iRacing communication platform.
- Intentional ramming, revenge actions or deliberate disruption of the race.
- Repeated serious misbehaviour on the race track (including repeated occurrences of different races).
